Who can take part

  • You are 16 years or older.
  • You have advanced lung cancer (stage 3 or 4) that has spread or come back after treatment.
  • You are starting a new course of chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or chemoradiation as an outpatient.
  • You do not have active bleeding or a high risk for serious bleeding.
  • Your kidney and liver function are adequate (no severe kidney or liver failure).
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking other blood thinners.
