Who can take part

  • You have an active blood cancer (such as multiple myeloma, lymphoma, or a related cancer) and are starting or on systemic therapy.
  • Your doctor has determined that you have an intermediate or high risk of blood clots (based on a score called Khorana).
  • You are receiving one of the study blood thinners at the specific reduced dose or the injection for clot prevention.
  • You have not had a major bleed (like in your stomach or brain) in the past month, and you do not have active bleeding right now.
  • Your blood counts are adequate (hemoglobin above 8 and platelet count above 30).
  • Your kidney and liver function are good enough (no severe kidney or liver disease).
