Who can take part

  • Age 18 to 80 years old
  • You have a brain bleed (intracerebral hemorrhage) confirmed by a CT scan, with a clot size of at least 30 mL on first scan, or at least 25 mL on a later scan with no more than 5 mL growth
  • Your stroke symptoms started within the last 24 hours and your NIHSS score is 6 or higher
  • You had no major disability before the bleed (mRS 0-1)
  • Your blood pressure is below 180 mm Hg for at least 6 hours before randomization
  • You are willing to start treatment between 12 and 24 hours after your first CT scan
