Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older and have a lung tumor that is either early-stage non-small cell lung cancer or a lung tumor that has spread from another cancer (3 or fewer spots in the lung).
  • The tumor is 3 cm or smaller, located in the outer part of the lung (not near the main airways or chest wall).
  • You are scheduled to receive a single, high-dose radiation treatment (called SBRT) to the lung tumor.
  • You have not had chemotherapy or other cancer treatments for this tumor, and you have not had radiation to the same area before.
  • You are generally able to care for yourself (ECOG performance status 0-2) and are willing to follow the study schedule.
  • You are covered by French health insurance and can give written informed consent.
