Brain Bleed Study: CT Scan Markers of Risk (SPOT)

This study looks at people who had a brain bleed (intracerebral hemorrhage) to understand if certain signs on CT scans can predict higher risk of severe outcomes. Participants will have two CT scans—one with dye soon after the bleed and another 1 to 2 days later.

Who can take part

  • You had a sudden bleed inside your brain (not caused by an injury).
  • You had a special CT scan with dye (contrast) right after the bleed started.
  • You had a follow-up CT scan of your brain 1 to 2 days later.
  • Your bleed is not from a head injury or other types like bleeding outside the brain.
