Who can take part

  • You had a non-traumatic brain bleed (not from a head injury).
  • You were admitted within 12 hours of symptom start (for “wake-up” cases, last known well time is used).
  • You are covered by French social security.
  • A study consent form has been signed.
  • Your bleed is not only in the brain’s fluid spaces (not pure intraventricular bleeding).
  • You can safely have an MRI scan (no unsafe metal in the body, severe claustrophobia, or gadolinium allergy).
