- You are 18 years or older
- You have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) by a doctor using the 2010 ACR/EULAR criteria
- You do not have other connective tissue diseases like scleroderma or lupus
- You have no history of cancer
- You do not have another lung condition, heart failure, or recent nail injury that would interfere with the exam
