Study on blood test for fibrosis in arthritis or sclerosis

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)Systemic Sclerosis (SSc)

Part of Bones, joints & muscles, Immune system & allergy, Lungs & breathing, Skin clinical trials.

This trial looks at a blood marker called FAP to see if it relates to fibrosis (tissue scarring) in people with rheumatoid arthritis or systemic sclerosis. It may help understand how the disease affects the body.

Skin autofluorescence test for advanced sugars in rheumatic diseases

This study uses a non-invasive light test on the skin to measure advanced sugars (AGEs) that build up in rheumatic diseases. It compares people with inflammatory rheumatic conditions to healthy volunteers to see if this test helps understand disease activity.

NCT07147127Not yet recruiting
Testing a new blood marker for rheumatoid arthritis

This study looks at a specific antibody in the blood that may help diagnose or monitor rheumatoid arthritis (RA). It aims to see if this marker can distinguish RA from other conditions.

NCT06876064Not yet recruiting
National study of people at risk for rheumatoid arthritis

This study follows people who are at high risk for developing rheumatoid arthritis, as well as first-degree relatives of RA patients and people with very early untreated RA. It aims to learn more about the disease so doctors can better predict and prevent it.

FAP protein as a marker for fibrotic lung disease

This trial is looking at a protein called FAP in the blood of people with fibrotic lung diseases. It aims to understand how this protein might be used as a marker to help doctors better diagnose and track these conditions.

Gallium-68 FAPI-46 PET/CT for inflammation and fibrosis

This trial uses a special PET/CT scan with a tracer called 68Ga-FAPI-46 to see if it can better detect inflammation and scarring (fibrosis) in people with chronic diseases like scleroderma, pulmonary fibrosis, or rheumatoid arthritis. The goal is to improve diagnosis and monitoring.
