Who can take part
- You are 18 or older.
- You have NMO and are currently having a relapse (new or worsening symptoms lasting over 24 hours, starting within the last 14 days).
- Your relapse affects your vision (optic neuritis) or causes weakness in your arms or legs (myelitis).
- A blood test shows you have AQP4 antibodies (a type of protein) at a high level, and you do not have MOG or GFAP antibodies.
- You are able to walk at least some steps with or without help (EDSS score between 3 and 8 at screening).
- You are not taking certain other antibody treatments (like rituximab or eculizumab) within the last 3 months.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you will use contraception during the study.
- You have no serious active infections or other medical conditions that would make treatment unsafe.
