Who can take part
- You have HER2-positive breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic) or cannot be removed with surgery.
- You have already been treated with trastuzumab deruxtecan (T-DXd) and trastuzumab (Herceptin), and the cancer continued to grow or you had severe side effects.
- You have also received a type of chemotherapy called a taxane (like paclitaxel) in the past.
- You have not been treated with the study drugs before (in thetamab or a TROP-2 antibody-drug conjugate).
- You are generally healthy enough to be up and moving around (ECOG score 0-2) and have adequate organ function (heart, liver, kidneys, blood counts).
