This study tests a new, non-surgical treatment using ultrasound and gentle electrical stimulation (like a tiny pulse) to help improve walking after a stroke. It is for people who have had a stroke and are still working on their walking in physical therapy.

Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You have had a stroke (brain attack) and are in the subacute or chronic phase (not the first few days).
- You can walk 10 meters (about 33 feet) without someone else's help.
- You are currently doing physical therapy with standard exercises.
- You do not have a fear of needles, an allergy to needles or metals, or uncontrolled bleeding or blood vessel problems.
- You are not pregnant, do not have certain skin disorders, active inflammatory diseases, or cancer, and have not had invasive physiotherapy in the last 4 weeks.
