Who can take part

  • You must have a confirmed diagnosis of lung signet ring cell carcinoma (a rare type of lung cancer).
  • You should not have received any treatment for this cancer before joining the study.
  • Your doctor must be able to provide a sample of your tumor tissue and a piece of healthy nearby lung tissue from a biopsy or surgery.
  • You need to have a life expectancy of at least 12 weeks (about 3 months).
  • You must not have any other active cancer, and your signet ring cell cancer should not have started in another organ and spread to the lung.
