Psychological help for migrants in Italy: The ADVANCE trial

This trial tests two WHO-designed psychological programs (called SH+ and DWM) to help migrants in Italy cope with stress, anxiety, and depression. You will be randomly assigned to one of the programs to see if they improve your mental health and well-being.

Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You are a migrant living in Italy (asylum seeker, refugee, or labor migrant)
- You are feeling high levels of stress, anxiety, or depression (a screening test will confirm this)
- You can speak and read English or Italian well enough to take part
- You are not planning to leave Italy permanently within the next 6 months
- You do not have a serious mental illness (like schizophrenia) or an urgent medical condition that needs hospital care
