Who can take part

  • You have ALS, a spinal cord injury, or a chronic brain injury and need help communicating.
  • You can purposefully open and keep your eyes open for at least 30 minutes.
  • You have a reliable way to answer 'yes' and 'no' (like nodding, blinking, or vocal sounds).
  • You have a friend or family member who can be trained to help you use the system.
  • You are 18 or older and understand English well.
  • You do not have a history of seizures, sensitivity to flashing lights, or certain vision problems like double vision.
