Who can take part

  • Your spinal cord injury must be over 1 year old and your symptoms must be stable for at least 6 months.
  • Your bowel program (like using suppositories or oral meds) must not have changed in the last 3 months.
  • You have a planned bowel movement at least every 3 days.
  • You do not have bowel leakage more than once a week.
  • You do not have certain other bowel conditions or trouble swallowing.
