Who can take part

  • You have idiopathic Parkinson's disease.
  • You have a Medtronic Percept PC or RC DBS device, with leads in either the STN or GPi area of the brain, implanted for at least 3 months.
  • Your current DBS settings and Parkinson's medications have been stable for the past 4 weeks.
  • You are willing to attend all study visits and complete questionnaires and exams, including one where you temporarily stop stimulation and medication.
  • You have a measurable brain signal (alpha-beta waves) of 1.2 microvolts or higher on at least one side of your DBS leads during screening.
