Who can take part

  • You have Parkinson's disease and have a deep brain stimulation (DBS) device in an area called the subthalamic nucleus (STN).
  • Your DBS device must be the Medtronic Percept™ PC or RC system, and it must have been put in at least 6 months ago.
  • You still have bothersome symptoms like slurred speech, freezing of movement, or sudden changes between
  • Your device needs to have a usable brain signal (called local field potential) on at least one side.
