Who can take part
- You must have been diagnosed with asthma by a doctor and have taken daily asthma medicine for at least 1 year.
- Your asthma symptoms must be uncontrolled, shown by a score above 1.5 on a standard questionnaire (ACQ-6).
- You must have had at least one serious asthma attack in the past year that required steroid treatment (pills or injection).
- You cannot have other major lung diseases like COPD, chronic bronchitis, or lung scarring.
- You cannot have a current or recent (within 30 days) active infection.
