Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You have a confirmed diagnosis of lupus (SLE) with a positive ANA test and at least one more specific antibody.
  • Your lupus has not responded well to at least 2 different types of immunosuppressive treatments, including one biologic or cyclophosphamide.
  • Your lupus is currently active (SLEDAI score >6 or BILAG A/B scores) without severe central nervous system involvement in the past year.
  • You do not have other active autoimmune diseases, uncontrolled infections, or low blood counts.
