Who can take part

  • You must be between 50 and 80 years old and have been diagnosed with early Alzheimer's disease.
  • You need a trusted family member or friend who can come to study visits and talk with the research team about you.
  • You cannot be pregnant or nursing, and must use effective birth control during the study and for 3 months after.
  • You must be generally healthy aside from Alzheimer's, without serious heart, liver, kidney, or infectious diseases like HIV or hepatitis.
  • You must be willing to have a lumbar puncture (spinal tap) and have blood tests.
