Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old
  • You need a hindfoot or ankle fusion surgery (like ankle, subtalar, or talonavicular fusion)
  • You have not had a prior fusion surgery on the same joints
  • Your diabetes (if you have it) is well controlled (HbA1c under 7.0 and normal foot sensation)
  • You are able to walk and can attend follow-up visits
