Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with frozen shoulder (also called adhesive capsulitis).
  • You have had shoulder pain and limited movement for more than 4 weeks.
  • You can tolerate the feeling of mild electrical stimulation on your skin.
  • You have not had shoulder surgery, a shoulder fracture, or a dislocated shoulder before.
  • You have not had a steroid injection in your shoulder within the last 6 weeks and are not in another trial.
