  • You are 18 years or older
  • You are living with HIV
  • You are being diagnosed with your first episode of TB meningitis and your doctor plans to treat it
  • You weigh more than 35 kg (about 77 pounds)
  • You have not taken more than 5 doses of any TB medicine in the last 14 days
  • You do not have a known TB that is resistant to rifampicin
