- You were in the ICU for at least 2 days between January 2021 and May 2024.
- You had sepsis (a severe infection that affects your whole body).
- Your platelet count was very low (less than 100) when you entered the ICU.

- You did not have active bleeding, certain blood cancers, or severe liver or kidney disease.
- You were not on strong chemotherapy or immunosuppressant drugs before your ICU stay.
