- You are 18 to 75 years old.
- Your blood pressure stays high (between 130 and 150 top, under 100 bottom) even with 3 or more blood pressure pills, including a water pill.
- You have enough fat tissue around your kidneys (measured by ultrasound) to be treated.
- You are willing to attend doctor visits on your own and give written permission.
- You do not have certain other health conditions or pregnancy.
