Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • Your blood pressure is still high (daytime average systolic 130-149 mmHg) after taking at least 3 blood pressure pills for a month, including a water pill.
  • You have at least a certain amount of fat around your kidney (measured by ultrasound).
  • You are willing to come to the clinic and sign a consent form.
