Who can take part
- You have Down syndrome (diagnosed or with typical features).
- You are 40 years or older.
- You have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's dementia based on changes in daily function and thinking tests.
- You have a caregiver who is willing and able to help you daily and attend clinic visits twice a year.
- You are not currently taking any antiepileptic drugs, benzodiazepines, or narcotics.
- You have never had an epileptic seizure as an adult (after age 18).
