  • You have aortic stenosis, a narrowing of your heart's main valve.
  • You are scheduled to have a TAVR procedure to replace that valve.
  • You are not having TAVR for aortic regurgitation (a leaky valve).
  • Your procedure is not an emergency.
  • You have not had a prior aortic valve replacement.
