  • You had a mild ischemic stroke within the last 2 weeks
  • You have type 2 diabetes that was diagnosed less than 5 years ago
  • Your blood sugar control (HbA1c) is between 6.5% and 8.5%
  • You are between 40 and 75 years old
  • You have at least 9 years of education
  • You are not currently taking any DPP4 inhibitors or insulin
