Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You had a mechanical clot removal (endovascular thrombectomy) for a large artery blockage in the front part of your brain.
  • Your stroke symptoms are moderate to severe (NIHSS score 6 or more).
  • You were independent before the stroke (could do daily activities without help).
  • You can start the study drug within 6 hours after your clot removal procedure.
