Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 85 years old.
  • You will be in the intensive care unit (ICU) for at least 15 days after a brain bleed, unruptured aneurysm, or abnormal blood vessel tangle.
  • Your mental function is normal (score above 24 on a standard memory test).
  • You are fully awake and alert (score of 15 on the consciousness scale).
  • You can move at least one arm or leg.
  • Your pain is mild (less than 5 out of 10).
