Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are currently being treated with antibiotics for a C. diff infection, or your doctor plans to start treatment.
  • You have had a C. diff infection at least once in the past year.
  • You will finish your antibiotic course within 5 days before your first study visit.
  • You are not planning any other treatments for C. diff (like fecal transplant, probiotics, or other special therapies) during the 8-week study.
  • You do not have any other serious health conditions (like severe diarrhea, Crohn's, ulcerative colitis, or an ostomy) that would interfere with the study.
