Who can take part
- Be between 18 and 45 years old
- For people with ankle instability: had your first ankle sprain at least one year ago, and your most recent sprain was at least three months ago
- For people with ankle instability: feel your ankle is unstable (score less than 24 on the Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool)
- For healthy volunteers: no past injuries or surgeries on your legs
- No nerve or brain conditions that affect movement
- No other ankle joint diseases or major leg surgeries
