Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You have classic or incomplete atresia syndrome, with symptoms starting between 6 weeks and 1 year ago.
  • You are alert and can communicate reliably (for example, by using eye movements).
  • You are not taking medications that affect nerve or muscle function (like sedatives or certain calcium channel blockers), or you have stopped them for at least a week.
  • You do not have any metal implants or devices in your body (like a pacemaker) that would prevent brain stimulation.
  • You have not taken part in another brain stimulation study in the past month.
