Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have active Ulcerative Colitis that has been diagnosed for at least 3 months.
  • Your Ulcerative Colitis is moderate to severe (with symptoms like frequent diarrhea and visible blood in stool).
  • You have tried at least one standard treatment (like mesalamine, steroids, or biologic drugs) and it didn't work well enough, stopped working, or caused side effects.
  • You do not have Crohn's disease, or other conditions like severe colitis or a history of bowel cancer.
  • You are willing to use effective birth control if you or your partner could become pregnant.
