Pacing and heart pressure in HFpEF exercise

Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old and have signed a consent form.
  • You have heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (your heart pumps at least 45% normally but doesn't relax properly).
  • You have a DDD pacemaker with left bundle branch area pacing that was put in at least 12 weeks before the study.
  • You are on optimal heart failure medications (MRA and SGLT2i) or can't take them due to side effects.
  • You have normal sinus rhythm (not atrial fibrillation) during the study tests.
  • You do not have severe lung disease, severe heart valve disease, or other major heart issues like unstable arrhythmias or amyloid cardiomyopathy.
