Who can take part
- You have heart failure with a reduced pumping strength (ejection fraction of 40% or less) despite taking heart medications for at least 3 months.
- You have mild to moderate heart failure symptoms (such as shortness of breath or fatigue during everyday activities).
- You have a pacemaker or defibrillator that includes a wire in the upper chamber of your heart, and it has been in place for more than 3 months.
- Your heart's natural electrical signal is 120 milliseconds or less, or if you have a biventricular pacemaker, the paced signal is 120 milliseconds or less.
- You are 18 or older, can walk safely, and have transportation to study visits.
