Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury (TBI).
  • You do not have other serious brain or mental health conditions like severe depression or dementia.
  • You do not have any metal implants or electronic devices in your body that are not safe for MRI scans.
  • You are not currently taking certain medications like benzodiazepines, tricyclic antidepressants, or antipsychotics that could affect the stimulation.
  • You are not pregnant and are not regularly using narcotic drugs.
