Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You had your first ischemic stroke (blocked blood vessel) at least 12 weeks ago.
  • You have moderate to severe arm or hand weakness from the stroke.
  • You do not have metal implants or electronic devices in your body.
  • You have no history of seizures.
  • You are not taking certain psychiatric medications (e.g., antidepressants, antipsychotics).
