Who can take part
- You are 18 or older and scheduled for pituitary surgery (through the nose or through the skull).
- You do not already have a condition called AVP deficiency (diabetes insipidus) or SIAD (which affects sodium balance).
- You are not allergic to milk, soy, nuts, or lactose, as the study uses a protein supplement.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You do not have severe liver or kidney disease, and you are not on certain medications (like SGLT2 inhibitors) started in the last 5 days.
