Moxifloxacin for bronchiectasis: long-term safety study

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have bronchiectasis that is not caused by cystic fibrosis, confirmed by a CT scan.
  • You have had at least 2 flare-ups (worsening of symptoms) in the past year.
  • You are not allergic to moxifloxacin or similar antibiotics (fluoroquinolones).
  • You do not have severe liver or kidney disease, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You do not have a history of heart rhythm problems and are not taking certain heart rhythm medications.
  • You have not been on daily antibiotics to prevent flare-ups in the last 3 months.
