Who can take part
- You have had your first stroke.
- You are 3 to 6 months past your stroke.
- You do not have any other nerve, muscle, or bone problems that could affect your hand function.
- You can fully straighten your fingers (finger joints can be stretched to 180 degrees with help).
- Your finger or wrist muscles are not too tight (score less than 2 on a special scale).
- Your stroke symptoms score on a standard test is between 10 and 16.
