- You had one stroke that affected only one side of your body, and it happened less than 6 months ago.
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You have trouble moving or feeling your hand.
- You can understand and follow two-step instructions.
- You are already in a stroke rehabilitation program at the center.
- You do not have severe hand stiffness, hand neglect, or moderate to severe hand pain, and you can wiggle your fingers at least a little (more than 10 degrees).
