Metabolic Dysfunction Associated Fatty Liver Disease

Who can take part

  • You are between 21 and 70 years old
  • You have fatty liver disease (confirmed by MRI) and a BMI between 25 and 50
  • You do not have other liver diseases like hepatitis or cirrhosis
  • You do not drink heavily (more than 1-2 drinks per day)
  • You are not taking certain weight-loss or diabetes medications (like Ozempic)
  • You are able to have an MRI (no metal implants, no claustrophobia)
