New fully implantable cochlear implant for severe hearing loss

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have severe hearing loss in one ear, where even with a hearing aid, you can understand less than 40% of words during a test.
  • You have hearing loss in your other ear that is moderately severe or worse.
  • You have never had a cochlear implant before in either ear.
  • You have a compatible smartphone to use with the device.
