Who can take part

  • You have a thyroid nodule that is confirmed to be non-cancerous (benign) by at least one biopsy or special testing.
  • Your nodule is less than 80 milliliters in size.
  • The nodule is causing symptoms like pressure on your throat, cosmetic concerns, or anxiety that make you want treatment.
  • You have a single dominant nodule or one that stands out among others in a multinodular goiter.
  • Your vocal cords move normally and the nodule is in a location that allows treatment.
  • You do not have a pacemaker, ICD, or other implantable electronic device.
