Who can take part

  • You are 21 years or older
  • You have neck or arm pain (at least 30 out of 100 on a pain scale) or weakness, numbness, or reflex changes related to a specific nerve
  • The problem is caused by a single disc level in your lower neck (C3 to C7), confirmed by imaging like X-ray, CT, or MRI
  • You have tried non-surgical treatments (like rest, physical therapy, or pain medicine) for at least six weeks, or your symptoms are getting worse
  • You are healthy enough for surgery and willing to follow the study schedule
