New Device for 2-Level Neck Surgery

Degenerative Disc Disease(DDD)

This trial tests whether a new device (CORUS PCSS 3D) can safely and effectively treat neck disease (degenerative disc disease) at two levels in your lower neck. If you have nerve symptoms like pain or weakness that haven't gotten better with other treatments, you may be a candidate.

Who can take part

  • You have pain, weakness, tingling, or numbness in your neck or arm that matches damage seen on your spine scans (like MRI).
  • You've tried non-surgical treatments (like therapy or medication) for at least 6 weeks without enough relief, or your symptoms are getting worse quickly.
  • Your neck disability score is 15 or more out of 50.
  • You haven't had prior surgery at the two levels of your neck that need treatment.
  • You don't have osteoporosis, Paget's disease, or other bone diseases that would affect healing.
  • Your neck disease is limited to two or fewer discs (levels 3-7).
