Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with coronary heart disease (narrowed or blocked heart arteries).
  • You will be taking blood-thinning medication (antithrombotic treatment) for a long time.
  • If you recently had a heart attack or a stent procedure, your condition must be stable and you are ready to leave the hospital.
  • You do not have a life-threatening illness like advanced cancer that would limit your life to less than 6 months.
  • You are able to attend long-term follow-up appointments (no severe memory or mental health issues).
