- You are stable and scheduled for a planned or urgent (not emergency) high-risk angioplasty
- Your heart team has decided you need extra support during the procedure
- You have not had a stroke in the last 6 months or any stroke with lasting nerve damage
- You do not have a blood clot in the main pumping chamber of your heart
- You are not on dialysis for kidney failure
- You are not pregnant or planning to become pregnant within 90 days
