Parkinson's Disease (PD)

This study tests whether exercise or other trainings can slow down or prevent Parkinson's disease in people with early Parkinson's or a sleep disorder that raises risk for Parkinson's. Participants will take part in group and online sessions.

Who can take part

  • Age between 30 and 85
  • Able to give informed consent and join group and online meetings
  • Either have a sleep disorder called REM sleep behavior disorder (diagnosed by a sleep test) or have early to moderate Parkinson's disease
  • No dementia (score at least 19 on a memory test called MMSE)
  • No major depression (score 29 or less on a depression questionnaire called BDI-II)
  • No other serious brain or nervous system conditions, and no planned medication changes in the next 6 months
